Kevin Sofen is a longtime public safety advocate focused on practical tech solutions. He helps lead innovation efforts with the International Association of Fire Chiefs and has spent over a decade at W.S. Darley & Co. bringing new tools to firefighters. He founded SmartFireFighting.com to help the fire service adapt to change, and started a water nonprofit that’s raised over $1M for global health. Kevin also teaches sustainable strategy at DePaul and is now focused on local impact—helping clean up his Wicker Park neighborhood through awareness, action, and community activism.
